The author understands the anger, resentment, bitterness and hatred
along with the fear that individuals experience when they’ve been
hurt by someone else. She also understands the regret and shame
individuals feel when they are responsible for causing the pain.
She identifies first hand with
the pain of grief and loss, relationship meltdown, stress and
burnout, financial concerns, workplace conflict and family problems
along with the traumatic events that catapult individuals and
families into a tailspin of turmoil they find hard to navigate.
Following the tragic murder of
her brother Soren, Annette longed for release from the anger and
pain associated with losing someone so special in such a senseless
tragedy. Grief counseling and in depth introspection along with the
personal choice to be happy again are personal steps the author
takes as she travels a path she had never before traveled.
The story takes a dramatic turn
when she senses divine guidance leading her to publicly forgive her
brother’s murderers. As a result of forgiveness, she experiences a
profound freedom and peace she didn’t think was possible.
The miracle of forgiveness in
her life ignited a passion to help others find freedom and peace in
spite of their own difficult experiences. Her passion resulted in
the book FORGIVENESS: The Mystery and Miracle along with a
series of presentations that ignite the courage in others to be the
best they can be regardless of their past.
The book FORGIVENESS: The
Mystery and Miracle is an amazing account of the author’s
healing journey that draws on the strength she gained from past
experiences, positive personal choices and her deep faith in God.
In each chapter the author is
able to translate her own experiences into a personal application
for the reader that assists the individual in exploring their own
difficult circumstances.
In spite of the challenges life
experiences have brought her way, Annette Stanwick is an
enthusiastic woman who lives life to the fullest in spite of the
sadness that lingered following her brother’s death.
She has risen up from difficult
life experiences to find passion, purpose, freedom and peace, moving
on to a life that brings hope and inspiration to others.
Annette is an author, speaker
and Freedom Facilitator. When she isn’t speaking and writing or
working as Vice President of the world-renowned Gimbel Eye Centre,
she brings balance to her busy life through numerous creative
pursuits, along with enjoying the thrill of life with her husband,
two daughters and their families.
